Euphoria: I Am So Scared

lI am writing to you today with a deep sorrow in my soul, in the depths of my heart. Recently I came across a TV series "Euphoria" on HBO, (which does not stand for “House Blessing Overnational”) which is very popular especially among youngsters. While I understand the importance of artists’ creative freedom and diversity of opinion, I can’t help but notice the impact it has on our children’s beliefs. I am scared every day that I go out and see these teenagers wearing clothes like they do on this show.  With ever-increasing use of media, my grandchildren are exposed to many influences that can influence their beliefs, values and understanding of the world. We need to guide and protect them from things that hinder or interfere with their spiritual development. Watching "Euphoria" I was struck by the vivid and often sad content my eyes saw. The show explores drugs, sex and highly problematic youth culture. While it is important to recognize the complexity of the human...

We’re Pretending To Be Karen: Millenials Secretly Mocking The Gospel

Image
Dear, oh dear readers, welcome to another interesting article on my blog, The Prayer Lady. Today I want to draw your attention to a rather depressing trend on social media. It has come to my attention that there is a blog group on Facebook called "Pretending to be Karen" which in my humble opinion makes a mockery of the very essence of the Bible. Join me as we examine this issue and explore the potential consequences of such actions. Discovering the Pretending to be Karen Facebook Blog Group. Imagine this, dear readers. a virtual space where individuals pretend to be something they are not. The featured person in this particular Facebook blog group is "Karen," a character often associated with righteous behavior and protest. Now, while I understand the concept of satire and humor, I'm a firm believer in not crossing certain lines, especially when it comes to faith. About making fun of the Bible. As a faithful follower of Christ, I am very concerned that the ...

Should Christians Have Android Phones?

Image
Dear Fellows of Spiritual Purity, Happy Almighty Android! As I sit here, my fingers discreetly dancing across the screen of my sacred Android device, I am compelled by the powers of heaven to address one of the most alarming problems plaguing our modern souls: the ghost of the iPhone in power! Oh, how the evil Apple corporation fooled the public with its deceptive fruit “branding” and sleek designs. But be not deceived, my brethren, for beneath that radiant exterior lies a demonic interior , whispering temptation in the hearts of unsuspecting slaves. The iPhone , my dear friends, is the forbidden fruit of the technological age. They draw us in with their promise of seamless user experience, spectacular presentation, and ethical behavior. But take care of yourself! Behind their shining faces lies an evil strategy to separate us from the right path. Let’s examine the evidence, shall we? First, consider the name: "iPhone." Doesn't that sound suspiciously close to "i...

A final prayer for the game blog

Today I share a terrible story about confrontation and deception that make me shake my heart. Prepare for the events I will talk about again because they are full of pain and lies and a year-long struggle to restore my voice. It all started when I, Laura, the lady of unshakable prayer, took myself to meet the evil leader of the infamous witch worship blog. I did not know the darkness that awaited me as I advanced in the network of treacherous deception. He called for every ounce of courage and wrote a message of emotion, deciding to expose their evil intentions. But in return, the fabricated lies and twisted novels I received shook my soul by being lost in the maze. Their answer, hidden in secret lies and poisonous words, struck me like lightning. The weight of their harmful accusations carried my tired spirit and stole me from power to continue my holy call. I was silent for a year, I could not share the words that flowed freely from my heart. Oh, the torment that passes through my ve...

Addressing The Rumors

There is a silly rumor that has been circulating around the internet. It is false and should be disregarded. I just wanted to reach out and give you some insight into why I'm not a lesbian and I don't kiss women or want to kiss girls. The gossip in the workplace has gone viral and has cost me my job in customer service. The rumors are untrue, but despite this, it demonstrated to me how little people actually know about what’s going on behind closed doors. I do not kiss women or plan to kiss them soon, as these rumors imply. Obviously someone is spreading false rumors and upsetting people like me when they do not know any better. Additionally it's very one-sided assuming that everyone else finds these accusations true!  I believe it was due to the gamers blog that's been making some mean posts about me. They're not true, but I've been praying for them to be removed. It's really hard to have something like this go on without any reprieve. I have been praying ...

Trolls Of The Week (Warning Vile Language)

Image
The trolls of the week are the most sin-like and atrocious people on social media. They are not funny, amusing or hilarious. They just make you want to throw up in your mouth when you see their pictures and posts. The trolls of the week are actually a lot more sinister than they appear to be on social media. Their posts have been known to cause harm, spread hate, and even encourage violence towards people who don't share their views. I hope you will join me in prayer for this week's trolls. They know not what they do. Let's call upon Jesus to fix them! Prayer is an important aspect of our lives, and it is a great way to connect with God. It can be done in many different ways, such as through reading the Bible or praying out loud. Prayer can also be done by sending up a short silent prayer for those who are struggling with something.
