The idea of women wearing pants was a result of the feminist movement and the industrial revolution. Women were given more freedom and their clothing became more practical for their work in factories. But they were still expected to dress modestly and cover up their bodies, so they wore skirts over their pants. Pants are now widely accepted by society, and women can wear them with no negative consequences, but that doesn't mean that they should do so all the time - especially when it comes to religious occasions like weddings or funerals.The Bible does not say women should wear pants; it says they should wear dresses.
